THE EFFECT OF THE ICEBREAKING-ASSISTED TEAMGAMESTOURNAMENT MODEL ON THE STUDENTS’ LEARNING OUTCOMES ON MATHEMATICS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

چکیده

This paper describes the effects of TGT (Team Games Tournament) model assisted by Icebreaking on student’s learning outcomes in mathematics elementary school . The population research involves all student s class IV sample was selected through a probability sampling technique , which consisted 24 students for IV-A as control and IV-B an experimental class. used quantitative method quasi-experimental design with pretest posttest group instrument multiple choice questions to find out outcomes. Hypothesis data analysis carried one-way ANOVA computer program SPSS 21. Based results variance significant degree 0.05, value sig 0,000 < 0.05. It implies that I ce breaking ha d effect average score students’ experiment al 81.3 difference between post-test scores at 51.9. Conversely, t he conventional 71.8 42.3 Thus, it can be inferred application is better than there school.
